In this video, Vincent tells us about how to work the demonstration software for the ST25 Discovery Kit with the ST25R3911B - a highly integrated NFC Initiator / HF Reader IC, including the analog front end (AFE) and a highly integrated data framing system for ISO 18092 (NFCIP-1) initiator, ISO 18092 (NFCIP-1) active target, ISO 14443A and B reader (including high bit rates), ISO 15693 reader and FeliCa™ reader. Implementation of other standard and custom protocols like MIFARE™ Classic is possible using the AFE and implementing framing in the external microcontroller (Stream and Transparent modes). The ST25R3911B is positioned perfectly for the infrastructure side of the NFC system, where users need optimal RF performance and flexibility combined with low power.

This video describes the main components and features of the B-L475E-IOT board and shows a typical use of this platform as an IoT node using AWS (Amazon Web Services) to demonstrate the interactions between that node and a cloud server to build an intelligent system. In our continued efforts to simplify developers’ life within the STM32Cube environment, we just introduced a new video demonstrating how to easily port an example built using ST’s new STM32Cube Low-Layer APIs from one board (NUCLEO-L476RG) to another (32L496GDISCOVERY) within the same STM32 family. Using the Low-Layer template project corresponding to the target board, the process can be as simple as copying the applicative code from the original project and pasting it into the template project source files already configured to accommodate the new BSP.
