Automotive radars are essential components of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Short-range and long-range radar sensors monitor a vehicle surrounding in real-time, providing critical data to ADAS systems, in order to improve driver safety and comfort.

From short (SRR) to long-range (LRR) applications, automotive radars offer high versatility and precision, being indispensable building blocks for the Assisted L0/L3 up to Autonomous L4/L5 levels of driving.

According to the level of assistance required, radar systems enable today ADAS features such as:

  • Blind-Spot Detection (BSD)
  • Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
