Network-Attached Storage (NAS) is a purpose-built specialized server containing one or more storage drives, often arranged into logical, redundant containers or RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). Connected to the network, it provides file-level data access to a group of clients. Compared to general-purpose servers, NAS systems bring faster data access, easier administration, and simpler configuration. ST offers a wide range of products suitable to cover the NAS architecture allowing design of optimized system solutions in terms of power efficiency, size and dedicated feature implementation. The products offering ranges from high efficiency power management solutions, to several types of sensors, protection devices and wired and wireless connectivity.
