The number of full electric vehicles (EVs) is rapidly growing and, as a result, the charging infrastructure is also expanding, including DC fast charging stations, which have the attractive capability of providing the vehicle with a 100km driving range in just 10-12 minutes.  While architectures based on renewable sources and battery storage technologies – to take charging stations off-grid - are emerging, mainstream solutions are fed from the grid and a converter – in the range of 120kW or more - has a 3-phase input Power Factor Correction (PFC) stage and an isolated DC-DC converter. DC Charging stations also provide secure connectivity and authentication with the vehicle. Read more

DC Fast Charging Station

The increasing number of Electric Vehicles (EVs) on the roads brought about the need for more charging stations, including DC fast charging stations and CHAdeMO-compliant fast charging stations.  DC fast charging stations provide vehicles with level-
