Industrial pumps are widely used in many industrial environments and depending on the specific use the mechanical configuration, their size and shape must carefully be selected. Likewise, choosing the right type of motor – a universal, brushed or brushless DC motor or a single- or 3-phase induction motor – and associated motor drive is crucial to achieve the overall performance required by the pumping system.

Our product portfolio includes an extensive range of 8-bit STM8, 32-bit STM32 microcontrollers, STM32MPx microprocessors, power discretes, such as IGBTs, Power MOSFETs and diodes, including Silicon-Carbide (SiC) devices for industrial pumps with higher power efficiency.
Intelligent Power Modules (IPM SLLIMM™) and plastic power modules (ACEPACK™ range) will help build scalable, high-efficiency power stages with a power ranging up to tens of kilowatts.
Additionally, ST provides an extensive portfolio of high-performance op-amps and comparators, switching and linear regulators and MEMS inertial and environmental sensors, Machine Learning Inertial Measurement Units – to enable remote sensing (i.e. for closed loop control, as well as condition monitoring or predictive maintenance). This offer is completed with a comprehensive range of software and hardware evaluation tools to help reduce development time and design cost of industrial pump systems.
