网关是一个中央路由器,可以安全可靠地在车辆内的多个不同网络内互连和传输数据。它通过物理隔离和协议转换,在共享数据的功能域(动力总成、底盘和安全性、车身控制、信息娱乐、远程信息处理、ADAS)之间进行信息交互。

车辆日益依赖电子控制单元(ECU)来增强驾驶体验。作为各种ECU网络之间的通信桥,网关控制器通过外部接口(包括高低速CAN、LIN、ISO-9141、FlexRay和以太网协议)实现数据交换,发挥基础性的作用。

为了满足带宽、可靠性和不断增加的功能和数据的处理能力,ST提供汽车级SPC5微控制器、收发器以及电源管理IC和安全元件解决方案。
