在典型的AC-DC开关电源(SMPS)中,交流电源经过整流和滤波后进入功率因数校正(PFC)级。然后,通过高频调制技术(有时为了减小变压器和电感元件的尺寸而使其超过1 MHz的频率)将其输送到具有所需电压和电流额定值的直流负载。

为了找到最好的应用解决方案,设计人员必须选择最佳功率拓扑(反激、降压或准谐振)或者实现基于高度集成的变换器或使用离散功率开关和控制器,或者甚至决定使用先进的数字实现。无论他们的选择是什么,合适的半导体产品是满足他们特定设计目标的关键。
